Way to Go Karen!

The beauty of this quilt is in the piecing. Karen did a fantastic job! If you look closely, you'll notice many intricate details. This is quite an accomplishment! Just attempting to piece a Dear Jane is admirable, but to actually finish one...wow! Way to go Karen!

This block was my favorite one, it's so unusual.

Karen is a music instructor and talented pianist at my college. She plays during the chapel services. She loved the meandering design I did on her quilt.

Patriotic Flower Garden

This is such a lush colored quilt. The prints are 1930's reproduction fabrics. This patriotic beauty was put together by Carol Brown (I recently did her sailboat quilt). She requested Freeform feathers on it, which complimented the elegent feel of the quilt top.

Whimsical Daisies

The beauty of this quilt is in the fabrics. The quilting definitely needed to be very simple. We decided on whimsey with daisies. Marge loved it and graciously posed for the camera! Thanks Marge! I enjoyed quilting your quilt!
